UPDATE 8/1/19: Project: Supply Our Students (SOS) a Spectacular Operational Success!
Ver Beek Law is pleased to announce that The Banquet’s Project: SOS Backpack Drive was a success! With all the generous donations from Project SOS’s participants—including many Ver Beek Law clients—several children are now better equipped to start school with the necessary tools for learning. We want to thank everyone for their generosity and making a big difference for the less-privileged children of Sioux Falls.

The Banquet is a meal ministry here in Sioux Falls that provides meals to families in need throughout the area. This summer, The Banquet is expanding its charitable efforts with Project: SOS (Supply Our Students), a fundraising drive to collect backpacks and school supplies to distribute to children of low-income families. No child should have to go to school without the proper learning tools, and we can all help make sure that doesn’t happen for all Sioux Falls children this upcoming school year.
Ver Beek Law is proud to announce we are helping support Project: SOS! We have set up a donation center in our office. If you are in the area and have supplies to donate, we would be more than happy to take them off your hands and add them to our donations. You can also contribute monetary amounts and drop them off at our law office if you aren’t sure what to get for the kids. Furthermore, if you have donations but can’t get to our law office, please call us at (605) 988-8556 and we will coordinate with you to arrange for a way to get those donations collected for Project: SOS.
The Banquet is able to keep its efforts going through the kind work of volunteers. If you can’t donate anything other than time, then please know that every minute you spend volunteering is a huge help, too. Plus, please send this blog to your friends and family on social media. The more people who hear about Project: SOS, the better!
